Clarity is Owned and run by myself (Tom) & my cousin Charlie . We practically grew up together in our Nans house in Aigburth and from an early age were trying to earn our own wage. Whether we were doing door – door car cleans in the streets surrounding our nans house or buying bulk sweets, chocolate and drinks to sell in Sefton Park, we have always had it in our heads that we wanted to successfully run a business together & provide a service to our community
Our first ‘proper’ business came in the first lockdown when we saw an opportunity buying inflatable hot tubs & renting them out to people when we weren’t allowed out past 10pm (what a crazy time that was). This was relatively successful and we got a real taste on what its like to manage your own company & bringing a valuable service to customers.
A few years on, after trying different avenues, we decided to come together again to provide a service based business that focuses around something we care about & that’s how Clarity was born.
Like many people in Liverpool, we take a lot of pride in our city. There are many aspects that keep a city like ours thriving & one of them is cleanliness. For us, there’s nothing worse than seeing dull & sad looking surroundings, especially in the place we call home. That why we want to help people who want their space looking clean & fresh. We want visitors & tourists to leave Liverpool & think ‘what a bright & clean place’. Which is something we don’t think is being said currently.
We also know the importance of keeping our most valuable investments healthy & more importantly, safe! That’s why we take a lot of pride in all of the jobs we do for peoples homes & businesses, to increase the longevity & create a welcoming space for guests and customers.
The goal is mentioned above, its to make the our surroundings look cleaner, brighter & happier. When we visit some cities in Europe, or even cities like London, there is no litter anywhere & the streets are constantly being cleaned. This has a knock on affect for the people who live & visit there as they wont spit their gum on the floor or drop the odd piece of litter. This is where we want our city & the rest of the north west to be.
The plans we have for Clarity are far bigger than pressure washing driveways & cleaning gutters, we cant wait to grow a community around keeping our city clean & change the view that the rest of the country have on our home.
